Share Madness by Peter Lyons
A fun, hands-on, interactive game/simulation which illustrates
to students how the sharemarket works.

Can be used with 7-28 participants.

Suitable for students in New Zealand from years 10-13
studying economics.

Appropriate for the teaching of economics at International
schools.
Students work in groups of 1 to 4 students. Each group
is to trade shares and cash in order to maximise their wealth
by the end of the activity.
Key learning objectives for students are:

To understand how the sharemarket works.

To determine how various economic events can impact
on the values of different companies in the sharemarket.

To appreciate the advantages of diversification.
This simulation encourages the use of critical thinking
and the application of economic analysis.
